Playback Theater is an amazing practice. Even when it seems that it should not work, the Playback Theater works. This is a miracle! Testified by Ukrainian playbackers who survived this year of war. A year of grief and loss. A year of darkness and uncertainty. A year of resistance and hope. A year of support and creativity. A year of making Playback during the war.
📒We want to share our stories with you. If Ukrainian playbackers were books, then each of us could be an exciting novel, or a scientific work on crisis management, or a collection of poetry, or a comic book about superheroes.
We invite you to visit our living library! It will be in zoom. In the session rooms there will be Ukrainian playbacks - living books, and visitors will be able to ask us any questions - read these books. You can freely choose a room, visit all rooms, or stay with one ""book"" all the time.
📖When our living library closes, we will play for all of us (visitors of the “library” and “live books”) a playback performance.
The schedule for making a living library (in Central European time):
18:00 - 18:30 - grand opening.
18:30 - 20:00 - reading rooms.
20:00 - 21:00 - playback performance.
21:00 - 21:30 - feedback, closing of the living library.

To participate in the event, we ask you to donate (5/10/20/50/100 EUR) at this link, after which you will receive a zoom-link to the email during a few days. All collected funds go to the Humanitarian Foundation of the Ukrainian Playback Theater School, which supports Ukrainian playbackers and their families during the war. Also, for announcements and better communication, we will add you to the WhatsApp chat.
